Encouragement

I literally just wrote this! This poem is for Encouragement for ANYONE is going through a hard time and needs some kind words of encouragement:
Open your eyes
See into your future
Don't look behind you
Those mistakes were in the past
Don't think about them
Think about WHO you ARE
NOT what you WERE

Don't think no one loves you when their not around
In your toughest times
When you've fallen to the ground
And your tears seem they won't stop
There IS someone who loves you
There IS someone who cares
Even when their no there

Look for the love
Not the hate
Look for the happiness
Not the sorrow
Look ahead
Not behind

Welcome to my site full of poetry...well not just yet. I'm just starting this site off and hope it goes good. I hope everyone enjoys it and finds a poem they can relate too! If they can please comment! Here is a poem I wrote a while back:
Isolation
No relation
Friendly smiles
Only last a while

All alone
No emotion shown
Even with friends
It never mends

Confusion
Delusion
Sorrow
Empty Tomorrows

Sad I know but sometimes you can get the most beautiful poetry out of the saddest moments in your life. Sad poems have more emotions at times then happy ones, or at least I think. Another poem I would like to share now is this:

Never leave my side
Never walk away
Never let our love decay
Never go and hide

Look me in the eyes they scream "I love you!"
Never let me leave your dreams
Never ignore my silent cries

I'm yours
Your mine
Is that a sign?

Love is ours
Bliss is there
Ours to share

Never leave my side
Never walk away
Never let our love decay
Never go and hide
Because I love you.
